Captain's cabin.
This cabin was once occupied by the captain of the ship. Most of the contents
have been washed away, and all that remains is driftwood. To the southwest is
an opening leading to the deck, and a hole in the floor leads downwards to the
galley. A conductor's baton lies on the floor. An inky quill has been left
here. The log of Captain Kate is here!

The coracle contains:
the oracle, the firestone3, the coal, the chart and the
wafer00.
Weight carried: 15kg 87g/100kg.
Objects carried: 2/12.

The chart tells of a legendary island, once inhabited by false druids of an
unspeakable evil, who worshipped demonic gods far fouler than the mere idols
of the mainland. The island is located some distance to the northwest of some
boldly-marked rocks standing mockingly in an angry sea. Part of the sheet is
damaged, but a safe route is charted between the rocks and the island which
indicates you should sail southwest, northwest, then to the northwest, then
northwest, then north, then north again. To get back to the mainland from the
rocks, keep sailing east.

You are negotiating tricky currents far out at sea. The only land you can make

You are on the high seas, far to the south of an island. The mast of a wrecked
ship can be seen on the south-eastern horizon.

Small bay.
You are in a small bay, skirted by strong currents. To the north is a steep
slope, which the swirling flows about you make the only safe place to land.
The island is a huge rock, topped by a flat plateau upon which is a huge
circle of weatherbeaten stones.

Steep slope.
This is a steep slope, running upwards to the north. Beyond more slopes, at
the top of the rock, a huge ring of stones can be seen, a scene which
dominates the whole island. To the east is a thicket, and to the west an
arcane forest. Southwards, the slope meets the sea in a bay which looks just
about calm enough to sail a small craft. An old, thick-glass bottle stands
here, marked: "water". A seashell lies here. Fixed into the ground is a
weatherworn signpost.

You are standing on a steep slope, leading upwards to the north. At the top,
there levels out a plateau on the top of the rock which is this island. East
