Captain's cabin.
This cabin was once occupied by the captain of the ship. Most of the contents
have been washed away, and all that remains is driftwood. To the southwest is
an opening leading to the deck, and a hole in the floor leads downwards to the
galley. A framed, ancient chart lies here. An inky quill has been left here. A
burning fire brand is here. The log of Captain Kate is here!

Written in the logbook is:
"Its the same old human tale of ego and envy on an endless loop"
"I wasn't referring to you, but, case in point"
"Droo" and a doodle of "a picture of a wizard casting FOD on an unsuspecting
mortal"
"Our lives start to end the day we remain silent about things that matter"
"Killed the Drag then the Wolf, killed by snake"
"Natasha found the path"

read chart
The chart tells of a legendary island, once inhabited by false druids of an
unspeakable evil, who worshipped demonic gods far fouler than the mere idols
of the mainland. The island is located some distance to the northwest of some
boldly-marked rocks standing mockingly in an angry sea. Part of the sheet is
damaged, but a safe route is charted between the rocks and the island which
indicates you should sail southwest, northwest, then to the northwest, then
northeast, then north, then north again. To get back to the mainland from the
rocks, keep sailing east.

about calm enough to sail a small craft. Fixed into the ground is a
weatherworn signpost.

You are standing on a steep slope, leading upwards to the north. At the top,

n. feed coal to dragon
Ring of stones.
You find yourself overawed by the huge ring of stones which encircle this, the
highest part of the island rock. As the wind sweeps over from the rugged
cliffs to the east and north, the desolation of this place is all-pervading.
To the south and west are steep slopes downwards. Far, far away in the
distance on the southeast horizon can be glimpsed the sail of a wrecked ship.
In the centre of the ring of stones is a large, heavy, slate, sacrificial
slab, still stained by the blood of the multitudes sacrificed upon it in
druidic times. The slate slab looks too heavy for you to move. Beating its
enormous wings above you is an immense, fire-breathing dragon!
*The dragon starts to devour the coal. Seemed to enjoy it!
The dragon has eaten a coal.

Sloping forest.
This is a sparse forest, which slopes from the south upwards to the north. At
the south end is a cove, which meets the rough sea that is to the east.
Southwest is an evil place, where such wildlife as inhabits the island does
not dare travel. To the west the forest clears, and to the north is a
clearing, upon which you can see a ring of huge stones. A golden sickle lies
untarnished at your feet.

Fairy ring.
You are standing in a desolate spot. The only noise is the howling wind as it
comes off the sea beyond a cove to the southeast. In the centre of this
wilderness is a fairy ring, a circle etched out by toadstools many centuries
before. Within the ring are no signs of the presence of animal life, as if few
creatures dare enter the area. In size, it is large enough for a human to
enter. North and west are slopes leading upwards to a plateau at the top of
the rock of an island, and northeast is forest.
